Verifying residency to purchase a card

This tool is a preliminary check only. To actually purchase a City of San Diego Golf ID card, residency must be verified through ID.me (opens in new tab). We accept only the following:

Accepted documents

  1. A valid CA driver’s license or ID with an eligible City of San Diego address.
  2. A valid CA auto registration with an eligible City of San Diego address.
  3. A current property tax bill with an eligible City of San Diego property address.Trusts require additional documentation and are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
  4. A valid student ID with proof of full enrollment.
  5. Active Duty Military stationed in San Diego.
